At 9:00 AM on August 4, JSJ Silicone Materials officially launched an emergency drill simulating a hazardous waste (waste oil) leak. Personnel from equipment management, safety and environmental protection, wastewater treatment, and other relevant departments collaborated in the exercise, which aimed to enhance the company’s emergency response capabilities for sudden environmental incidents through realistic scenario simulations.
The drill focused on a simulated waste oil leak scenario and was carried out strictly in accordance with the principles of ”realism, proceduralization, and collaboration.” Each step—from identifying and reporting the hazard, setting up on-site containment and isolation, to collecting and treating pollutants and conducting environmental risk assessments—was designed to closely mirror potential real-world emergencies in production.
Throughout the drill, all personnel worked in close coordination, strictly adhering to emergency response protocols. This exercise not only tested the scientific rigor and practicality of the emergency plan but also reinforced risk awareness among participants, clarified their roles within the emergency response framework, and provided hands-on experience in cross-departmental collaboration for handling sudden environmental incidents.
Safety in production and ecological protection are dual cornerstones of high-quality corporate development. This drill served not only as a comprehensive test of JSJ’s emergency response capabilities but also demonstrated the company’s strong commitment to the standardized management of hazardous waste.
Following the drill, the command team conducted a systematic review of the entire process, emphasizing that improving emergency preparedness relies on regular drills and process optimization. JSJ will continue to refine its risk prevention mechanisms to ensure swift and effective responses in real emergencies, minimizing environmental impact and financial losses.
Moving forward, JSJ Silicone Materials will maintain high standards in advancing its emergency management system, routinely conducting various practical drills to safeguard production safety with professional expertise and uphold green development through responsible actions. The company remains dedicated to strengthening industry-wide safety and environmental protection efforts.
