Application Recommendation
Bacosil A209 is a highly efficient anti-blocking aid for plastic films. Bacosil A209 has fine dispersibility and prevents discoloration in polyolefin additive formulations. In most countries it is approved for the use in food packaging films. Bacosil A209 is recomanded application in blow film for PE,PP,PVC.
Method of Application
According to the use, the addition in anti-blocking masterbatch can up to 30% ,and 500-2000ppm in plastic film can get a good open effect.
Storage Condition
Like all other finely powdered, products Bacosil A245 has a tendency to develop dust. During handling, precautions should be taken against electrostatic discharges. Additional information can be found in our Safety Data Sheet. Storage in a dry warehouse is recommended. Open packages should be resealed to prevent contamination of the product. The material should be used within 24 months from the date of production.

Bacosil A209 is supplied in bags. 25kg/bag, 24bags/pallet.
Health and Safety
Bacosil A209 is a synthetic amorphous silica. Information to date indicates that the dust from the product is not toxic and does not cause fibrosis. The Occupational Exposure Limit in Germany is 4mg/m³ for inhalable dust (AGW). Additional information can be found in our Safety Data Sheet. Please refer also to national laws and regulations.
