Application Recommendation
Bacosil A245 is a highly efficient anti-blocking aid for plastic films. Bacosil A245 has fine dispersibility and prevents discoloration in polyolefin additive formulations. It also provides slip improvement on films. In most countries it is approved for the use in food packaging films. Bacosil A245 is mainly used for polypropylene,polyester films,PVC films and films made from linera polyester.
Method of Application
According to the use, the recommended addition is no more than 20% in anti-blocking masterbatch,and 500-2000ppm in plastic film.
Storage Condition
Like all other finely powdered, products Bacosil A245 has a tendency to develop dust. During handling, precautions should be taken against electrostatic discharges. Additional information can be found in our Safety Data Sheet. Storage in a dry warehouse is recommended. Open packages should be resealed to prevent contamination of the product. The material should be used within 24 months from the date of production.

Bacosil A209 is supplied in bags. 25kg/bag, 24bags/pallet.
Health and Safety
Bacosil A209 is a synthetic amorphous silica. Information to date indicates that the dust from the product is not toxic and does not cause fibrosis.
